well, you shouldn't be getting fuel into the throttle body on that setup, it's Sequential Fuel Injection...basically, your injectors (6 of 'em to be exact) are located in the intake, the throttle body simply meters air. what i would do first is MAKE SURE no fuel is your problem. try spraying some starting fluid in the throttle body (NOT A LOT, very little, this isn't really great for the engine but it can stand it) and see if it fires. if it does, then we know fuel is the problem.

next, make SURE your fuel pump is coming on. check your fuel pump fuse and relay. if either one are bad it's a sign that your fuel pump is on its way out. if it is coming on, check for fuel pressure at the fuel rail. there should be a schraeder valve (think tire valve) somewhere on the fuel rail. cycle the ignition on and after the fuel pump shuts off, take the cap off and push in the core (WITH YOUR FACE CLEAR). there should be a healthy squirt. if there isn't then you most likely have a bad fuel pressure regulator. if there is pressure there then you should be getting fuel to the injectors...but your injectors may not be opening to squirt it into the engine.

i'm not positive on these newer trucks, but i think the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) controls the injector pulse, but it could still be controlled through the ignition module like the old TBI rigs.

did the truck give any warning before it died? was the check engine light on? i would find someone with a code reader to see if you might get lucky and have the truck TELL you what's wrong with it. good luck and keep us posted...i'll help as much as i can...
